As Deputy Director of Micro-Loan Programs at Manna, Maria leads program execution and oversees consumer loan portfolios, performance metrics, internal database management, and funder reporting. She provides strategic guidance on loan fund management, ensuring the program expands financial access and strengthens community development efforts.

Previously, Maria served as a small business coach and grants program manager, where she gained extensive expertise in business management and economic development. As an independent consultant in the DMV area for over five years, she advised entrepreneurs and small business owners on strategic planning, operations, financial management, and marketing.

Maria holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) and a professional certification in Business Consulting from Kent State University. Additionally, she holds multiple certifications in financial and credit building management from NeighborWorks America and is a HUD-registered Counselor.
