In Fall of 2019, MANNA began the development of 12 mixed-income housing units at Hunter Pl. The site was acquired through a competitive process for underutilized publicly owned land. Manna’s vision was to bring new homeownership opportunities to a neighborhood that had not seen new affordable, owner-occupied housing in decades.

 

The homes at 2200 Hunter Pl SE, Washington DC which is East of the Anacostia River are all new construction townhomes boasting three-bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms averaging 1,500 sq ft with each unit having a front or rear balcony, and off street parking.

 

The unit mix includes ten townhomes targeted to buyers at 50 - 80% AMI and two unrestricted market rate units. One of the units was designated as a UFAS (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standard) unit.
