The Pohlman Townhomes are located at 8 & T Streets NW. The homes are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and measure between 1,300 and 1,500 square feet.  

The homes are new construction and are designed with energy efficiency in mind. The building envelop is designed to minimize heat transfer in either direction. A critical part of this energy efficiency is the installation of insulated glass and low emissivity (low-e) windows to reduce heat gain or loss. This is designed to ensure interior temperatures remain at desired comfortable levels, as regulated by the home’s HVAC system.

The project included the development of six homes: four homes for low-and moderate-income buyers who are 80% or below of the area median income as defined by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for Washington DC. Two homes are priced for buyers who are at 100% or higher of area median income.
